person for oil. John Davison Rockefeller was born July 8, 1839 in rich ford ,
New York. John Rockefeller was the second of six children. John first job in
1855 was an assistant bookkeeper . John Rockefeller only finished public school
he did not succeed to high school. He became the founder of standard oil which
was huge during the industrial revolution. His oil business was the first oil
business the u.s trust. His oil company was built in Cleveland. John successful
ran his business (Standard Oil Company). His company started in 1880 his company
moved throughout the country and gained fifty-five million dollars in net. John
Rockefeller became very wealthy along with his company. Besides the company
Rockefeller had a wife named Laura and five children and among the children one
died in infancy her name was Alice. John Davison Rockefeller company gave 530
million dollars to help creative the University of Chicago. Rockefeller also
had a institution named after him in New York for medical research. John Davison
Rockefeller died on May 23, 1937 in Ormand Beach, Florida at the age of 97. John
died of Arteriosclerosis. John will always be remembered as one of America's
